The process
Avocado Excellence: From Harvest to Shipping in 4 Days! At Hartford Europa Sourcing, we are dedicated to delivering the freshest and highest-quality avocados to your table! Our comprehensive process ensures that each avocado meets rigorous standards for taste and freshness, from selection to shipment.
Day 1: Harvesting, Sampling & Selection We meticulously select ripe fruits directly from our orchards. Sample testing for Dry Matter content and calibre weighing establishes the basis for quality grading.
Day 2: Sorting, Grading & Packing Manual sorting ensures that only grade 1 fruits are chosen. Grading and packing into different sizes guarantee a personalized experience for each customer.
Day 3: Weighing, Cooling & Quality Check Accurate weighing of packed boxes ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Cooling the avocados for a minimum of 24 hours in our cold storage maintains their freshness while strict quality checks are conducted.
Day 4: Loading & Shipping Preparation Avocados are loaded into controlled atmosphere environments, optimizing shipping conditions. With meticulous packaging and attention to detail, our avocados are ready for their journey to your doorstep!
